Turn Your Summer Abroad into College Credits

Why wait to study abroad? Make this summer count. In just four weeks packed with fun and the many discoveries of cultural immersion, earn four college credits and fast-forward your language skills in one of eleven cities.

Programs

Choose from one of more than 20 CIEE Global Navigator High School Language & Culture summer programs to improve your fluency in Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese, German, Italian, Japanese, or Arabic. Spend mornings in interactive classes tailored to your proficiency level. Then practice your skills with peers, your host family, and community as you navigate the culture.

What you gain

• 60 hours of instruction
• Certificate of language proficiency
• Confidence in your language skills
• Four college credits that demonstrate college-level work ability, satisfy college level proficiency requirements, and/or apply toward a future degree*

College credit process

• Elect the “college credit” option in your completed application for your favorite program.
• Before April 13, 2017, pay CIEE a $100 non-refundable transcript fee and sign the School of Record waiver.
• Complete your program and receive your grade.
• Coursework and grades are sent from CIEE to Tulane University, CIEE's School of Record and Tulane produces your official transcripts.
  
• Submit your official, Tulane University transcript to the college(s)* of your choice.
